Soo until T'Challa kid grows up all the Black Panther projects will be called Wakanda "Something"?

Just make a movie with M'Baku training little T'Challa II and taking him on missions around the world, that would be nice. Maybe they can cross paths with a little Ororo Munroe?

How the hell are they going to keep going back to Wakanda without T'challa. Not happening. Feige is done (after cap4, TB) pouring money into these weird spin off projects.

Chadwick was a man of the people and he definitely would've wanted T'Challa's story to continue. I understand the fans and the rest of the world mourning his passing, it took us all by surprised, but selfishly cancelling a character that has had a existing presence in Marvel for YEARS with many adventures and many more left to be explored in live action wasn't out of respect. It was out of fear. And it lead us to have the half n half that was "Wakanda Forever" which has now put the BP legacy in even more disarray. Now they essentially want to expand the franchise with nothing to stand on??

It’s amazing to me how some people on this site still don’t get it..

Trust me i was on the recast T’Challa train however I then put myself in the shoes of the cast & crew , many of whom were close with Chadwick so to turn around so soon after his death and just recast the role like it was nothing or that anyone could bring what he brought to it would be disrespectful.

I honestly think they went with the best route with the unfortunate circ*mstances they had to deal with by having Shuri become BP for the foreseeable future (which is from the comics) but then introduce T’Challa’s son who has the same name as him as the likely future successor and a new version of the character that wouldn’t have to be beholden to Chadwick’s culturally iconic take.

I’m hindsight , it allows us to be with those characters as they grieve and try to move on which is and can be a powerful story

I’ll wait & see for now but Wakanda is one of , if not the most interesting “world” in the MCU so I would be down to explore it more aswell as the various characters that inhabit it.

However even though i like Shuri in the BP role , I still feel Chadwick & T’Challa’s lack of presence…
